3rd Annual Capture Your Fitness 5K Run and Walk {2016}
This 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk Event (Themed: Spirit SuperStars)
was coordinated by How Charming Photography and Design owner Heather Graves.
Committee Members Include: Former Senior Model Representatives Courtney Warnock,
Rachel Allen, and Hannah Rennick … in addition to Halea Franklin, Ashley Lower, Stephanie Graves,
Danielle Leigh, Leah Hubbell, Missy Snead, Terry Wilson, Dee Fulford, and Terry Graves.
Local businesses, organizations, and individuals sponsored, donated over 150 door prizes, and participated in a Vendor Fair to bring multiple communities and organizations together to give back to the communities they serve.
YOUR participation in the 2016 Capture Your Fitness 5K Run and Walk determined
WHO receives the proceeds. Teams, listed below, went out to get individuals to register to walk, to run, OR simply to be a ‘Spirit Donor’ for their team.
Registration fees were returned (as a percentage) to these teams based on the number of registrations received by March 29, 2016 at 11:50 p.m.

Golf Ball Drive to Support the Military
Over Two Hundred and Fifty Golf balls were received during this collection. These will be transported to Ft. Bragg Military Base to be used for Wounded Warriors Project rehabilitation. Sharing Safe Smile Quilt Raffle
Guest purchased tickets for this beautiful blue and black quilt made and donated by the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility P.L.U.S. Program. One winner was drawn on Saturday and the tickets totaled 75 to be donated to the Sharing Safe Smile HCP Community Outreach Initiative. -
Pull Together for a Community Smile
This Community Initiative Project began in September 2014 to benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Indy. We want to continue to help share community smiles to those who have a need at Riley Children’s Hospital. Over 1,000 pop tabs were received during this weekend to be transported to the Ronald McDonald House by Jerry and Gayle Margraf.Vendor Fair

Guardians of Indiana Leadership Academy (GILA) of Southport, Indiana presented the colors for the 2015 5k event. They returning for 3rd Annual 5K event. The National Anthem was performed by Tera Orman and Prayer given by Gregg Orman. -
Children’s Activity Center Opened (at 8:45 a.m.)
Games and More provided were by the Linton Civitan Club.
“Bella the Clown” provided free face painting.

1st Annual Capture Your Fitness 5K Run and Walk {April 12, 2014}
How Charming Photography Senior Model Representatives hosted the 1st Annual Capture Your Fitness 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, April 12, 2014. The event was held Linton Humphreys Park with proceeds benefiting the Greene County General Hospital Foundation.
Overall Top Male and Overall Top Female runner were awarded along with 1st and 2nd place in each age division. TOP Male and TOP Female WALKER were awarded as well. Each entrant received a FREE door prize ticket for one of many prizes donated from various businesses/individuals. A number of vendors, organizations, etc. were on hand during the event as well.
Activities Included:
- Terry Smith captured photos throughout the event
- Greene County Sheriff’s Department fingerprinted kids and adults of all ages
- Marvin Holt with “Face the Music Entertainment” emceed the event
- “Sparky the Fire Dog” of the Linton Fire Department visited with guests
- Linton Police Dept, Jasonville Police Dept, Bloomfield Police Dept, and Lyons Police Dept provided assistance during travel control
- Jjackson made his first public appearance
- Bloomfield NJROTC presented the colors
- Happy Matt’s BBQ was the exclusive food vendor
- Over 50 door prizes were drawn and awarded to participants and the general public
